Ronnie's girlfriend rescued by Borrell

Ronnie Wood's girlfriend was rescued by Razorlight frontman Johnny Borrell after being attacked at a London nightclub, according to a report.

Trouble broke out at the Punk nightspot when Ekaterina Ivanova arrived with a group of her pals, unaware that friends of Ronnie's daughter Leah were also at the club.

An onlooker told the Daily Star: "Someone shouted something about her not caring a jot about Ronnie's family. And then a bit of a scrap seemed to break out. It was packed so it really turned into a bit of a tussle.

"Johnny didn't hesitate, though. He dived straight in there and pulled Ekaterina out of the mêlée. But by then she'd already been kicked in the leg and was bleeding."

Wood fled to Ireland with the Russian bargirl earlier this month after leaving Jo, his wife of 23 years. He has since entered rehab to battle his alcohol problem.
