Sanderson plans glamour modelling return

Nikki Sanderson has revealed that she is planning to return to her glamour modelling career in the future.

The actress, who is best remembered for her role as Coronation Street's Candice Stowe, admitted that she misses being a lads' mag favourite after a two-year break from modelling.

"I've not done an underwear photoshoot for about two years, because I thought there were enough pictures out there," Nikki told the Sunday Mirror. "Now I have matured I might think about doing some new pictures in the future. And besides, I enjoy doing it."

Nikki added that she does not want other girls to feel insecure when they see her pictures, which are frequently airbrushed.

"I'm not perfect - and I fully admit the pictures you see of me in magazines are mostly airbrushed," she explained. "I think it's important young girls know I don't look that good in real life."

Sanderson makes her debut as Heartbeat's new barmaid Dawn Bellamy next weekend.
