'EastEnders' star 'rejected by Pallett'

EastEnders star Charlie Clements is feeling "gutted" after being rejected by Roxanne Pallett, according to a report.

The actor, who plays Bradley Branning on the BBC soap, struck up a friendship with Roxanne after they met at an awards party in Dublin earlier this year. As they grew closer, Charlie reportedly developed hopes for a romance, but he has now been turned down by the actress, who is better known as Emmerdale's Jo Sugden.

"Roxy really enjoys his company. And yes, she's a bit of a flirt but she didn't mean to mislead him in any way," a source told the Daily Star Sunday. "Charlie is one of the sweetest and funniest guys she knows. But she just sees him as a friend.

"She'll be the first to admit she's a very tactile person, so you can't blame Charlie for getting it wrong. He's pretty gutted about it all."
