Konnie Huq: 'Life is really tough'

Ex-Blue Peter host Konnie Huq has said that she has found getting work "tough" since quitting children's TV.

The presenter claimed she was working as a freelancer, but admitted the opportunities were quite limited.

"I am doing some bits. For example, I am flying to Spain tomorrow to do a thing for GMTV and another thing I can't tell you about," she told Metro.

"But it's really tough - life as a freelance... because that's what I am."

She continued: "I'm not quite exactly sure of what's next. I'd like to do a film. That would be great."

Earlier this year, Huq said that she wouldn't rule out posing for "classy and sexy" photoshoots in lads' magazines.
