Sting, Springsteen ground George Michael

George Michael's recent flight to Boston was grounded for one hour after air traffic controllers gave priority to planes carrying Sting and Bruce Springsteen.

Page Six reports that Michael's private jet was waiting to depart New Jersey's Teterboro Airport on Sunday evening but had its take-off delayed three times.

A source said: "He was first delayed by the weather. Then he had to wait for Sting's plane to take off. And, finally, he had to wait for a plane carrying Bruce Springsteen.

"All the jets were jockeying for position."
