LaBeouf: "I don't know how to have one drink"

Shia LaBeouf has opened up about his problem with alcohol.

The Indiana Jones star admitted that he does not know how to have "one drink" in an interview with Details magazine shortly before his arrest for drink-driving.

LaBeouf was booked in the early hours of Sunday after a car he was driving collided with a truck and flipped across the road in Hollywood. He has since undergone "extensive surgery" at LA's Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre after injuring his hand, head and knee.

Talking about his relationship with his dad, a former heroin addict, the 22-year-old revealed that the pair used to "drink together and smoke together".

He added: "It's not something that is conducive to being a role model - no iconic actors that I know of have problems like that.

"And I don't know how to do it like a gentleman. I don't know how to have one drink."
