Carey wants husband to 'get a job'

Mariah Carey reportedly wants husband Nick Cannon to find a job and stop spending her cash.

It was recently reported that that the actor has slipped into debt as a result of trying to keep up with his wife's lifestyle.

A friend told Life & Style: "Mariah wants him to at least have the status that DJ AM had when he was dating Nicole Richie.

"She wants him to start modelling. She wants him to start meeting with well-known designers."

The insider added that Cannon has no problem with his Carey taking charge of his career, saying: "He’s not upset; he thinks it’s a great idea. He knows Mariah wants him to become more famous."
