'ER' star happy for pregnant ex-wife

ER star John Stamos has said he is happy for ex-wife Rebecca Romijn after she announced that she is pregnant.

Romijn revealed on Monday that she is expecting twins with actor Jerry O'Connell, who she wed last July.

Stamos, who divorced the actress in 2004 after five years of marriage, said: "I'm happy for all four of them and I wish them the best."

Romijn's Ugly Betty co-star Becki Newton also expressed her delight at the news, telling Us Weekly: "I love the idea of a couple like that having babies! It's so great.

"We're really, really happy for them. They're great people! The babies will be stand-up comedians!"
