The Welsh-born actress revealed that she has been in demand since she appeared in the 2002 film adaptation of Chicago.
"There's been an influx of offers for me to do some stuff in New York. It's predominantly musicals and I got one straight play the other day," Catherine told The Sun. "But if I'm going to do it, it has to be something I really want to commit to. It's such a big investment with the rehearsal period and invariably they want you to be in a good portion of the run of the show.
"They've offered me a revival of this, a revival of that, but I feel I already did one revival on film and it's there for ever. But if there was a fresh new musical, perfect, I would love to. I'm very flattered that theatre does come my way quite a bit."
Zeta-Jones also admitted that she would feel self-conscious about leaving the house if she did not have help from her stylists.
"I have a man outside the door who does pretty much everything except brush my hair before I go to bed," she said. "I have some really good people that help me out with all that beauty stuff."
