Usher 'proud' to be a young father

R&B star Usher has revealed that he feels "proud" to be a young father.

The 29-year-old singer and his wife Tameka Foster welcomed the arrival of Usher Raymond V, their first child, in November last year.

"That's something to be proud of. I'm so proud to be a father by the time I'm 30," Usher told People.com. "I'd hate to be 80 years old and not be able to run with my kids. I need to still be able to do back flips when they're in high school!"

Usher added that it won't be long until his son is doing back flips of his own: "[He is] already trying. He's a pull-up master."
