Jake Gyllenhaal 'ready for children'

Jake Gyllenhaal is ready to have children with Reese Witherspoon, say reports.

According to Life & Style magazine, the duo have discussed having a family together and may have children before they wed.

"Kids are something Jake and Reese discussed very early on," said a source.

"He made it clear that he definitely wants to have children. He just wanted to make sure Reese would be willing too, before he allowed himself to get serious with her."

Witherspoon already has two children, eight-year-old Eva and four-year-old Deacon, from her previous marriage with Ryan Phillippe.
