Dave Berry: 'Peaches was a dream'

TV star Dave Berry has described Peaches Geldof as "an absolute dream" to work alongside.

Berry, who worked with Geldof on ITV2's coverage of the iTunes Festival, said the socialite bucked his expectations.

"I thought she would be one of those people that only talks about bands that you haven't even heard about," the presenter told DS.

"But she couldn't be further away from the stories you read. She's very self-effacing and laughs when I take the p*** out of her, which is important."

He continued: "She's an absolute dream. I say that with complete surprise in my voice, because I was absolutely dreading it."

On the subject of Geldof's alleged drugs overdose while filming the series, he commented: "I texted her when I was told about the incident. She replied, 'I'm fine, it's been completely blown out of proportion. Are you going to the Batman premiere tonight?'

"I presume whatever happened wasn't quite what was it was made out to be in the papers."
