Voight: 'Angelina has no privacy'

Jon Voight has criticised the paparazzi for their constant pursuit of his daughter Angelina Jolie and her family.

The 69-year-old Oscar winner, who has had a fractured relationship with Jolie, discussed the perils of fame at the Los Angeles premiere of Pineapple Express.

He told the Press Association: "[There] always has been [attention] - they have no privacy.

"It's very difficult for them. This [premiere] is a thing where you show up and meet fans and it's all very playful and nice.

"But when you're just trying to do your daily chores and live your life and people are all over you trying to climb out of cars and windows, it's not so healthy."

Voight advised that the best way to deal with the attention was to keep "your feet on the ground in some way".
