Paris Hilton unhappy with Obama ad

Paris Hilton is unhappy with the Republican Party after it used her image in an advert which attacks Barack Obama.

The campaign video describes the Democratic presidential candidate as "the biggest celebrity in the world", before featuring clips of Hilton and Britney Spears. A narrator then asks: "Is he ready to lead?"

A spokesperson for Hilton confirmed that the star was featured in the video without any approach for permission being made.

The representative said: "Miss Hilton was not asked, nor did she give permission for the use of her likeness in the ad and has no further comment."
