Wood's girlfriend admits she is "in love"

Ronnie Wood's teenage girlfriend Ekaterina Ivanova has declared her love for the Rolling Stone in her first tabloid interview.

Speaking to the News of the World, the 19-year-old bargirl confirmed that she is hoping to continue their relationship when Wood leaves rehab.

"I am in love with Ronnie. I should hope he's in love with me," she told the newspaper. "We didn't mean to fall in love. You can't choose who you fall in love with. People fall in love despite an age gap. I fancy him because of the person he is. I don't think about his age or the fact he's a Rolling Stone.

"It was natural. It just happened. I've never felt more connected to someone. It wasn't like kissing a 61-year-old. It was electric. There was a spark."

Wood entered rehab to receive treatment for alcoholism last month after news of his affair with Ivanova hit the press. He is said to be undecided over whether to reunite with Ivanova or patch things up with Jo, his wife of 23 years, when he is discharged.

"I want to support him through rehab," Ivanova said. "Whatever decision he makes when he gets out is up to him. I want him to get well."
