'Hairspray' star arrested for assault

Hairspray actress Nikki Blonsky and her father have been arrested following an altercation with America's Next Top Model contestant Bianca Golden.

The pair were charged with assault and later released on bail after a row erupted at Providenciales Airport in Turks and Caicos.

Sgt. Calvin Chase of the Providenciales Police Department said: "Things got out of hand in an argument over seats in the departure lounge, and several people were involved in an altercation. There were some injuries involved."

It has also been confirmed that Golden's mother Elaine had to be airlifted to a Florida hospital following the argument.

Blonsky and Golden have been charged with actual bodily harm, while the actress's father is accused of grievous bodily harm.
