According to WENN, the comedian warmed up for his Australian tour by taking to the stage at the Roxbury Hotel bar in Sydney.
Rock used his 30-minute set to make fun of Australia's history and US Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama.
A member of the audience is quoted as saying: "He was hilarious. Lots of f-bombs but he was really funny. He's going to be a big hit Down Under.
"There were only about 100 people in the pub. I guess he wanted to test his material."
