Bob Saget has hit out at a comedian who made jibes about his Full House co-stars Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.
During filming for The Comedy Central Roast Of Bob Saget, stand-up Jeff Ross joked about tabloid speculation concerning Mary-Kate's alleged eating disorder.
"Mary-Kate and Ashley were supposed to be here tonight, but they heard there was food," he said.
Saget, who played the twins's father in the sitcom, released a statement criticising Ross's comments.
"Anybody who talks about my TV kids - that upsets me. I am very protective. I love them very, very much," he said.
