Nick Knowles has confessed that he was fired as an altar boy after replacing his church's incense with dope.
The presenter, who co-hosts new reality show Last Choir Standing with Myleene Klass, said he thought it would be amusing to play a prank on the priest.
Teletext quotes him as saying: "My friend and I found some 'rare herbs' and swapped it for the incense for a laugh.
"The priest wafted it over the congregation and got everyone chilled out. It was a lovely service!"
Last Choir Standing kicks off tonight on BBC One.
