Lindsay Lohan's father Michael has joined his family's public feud with US news anchor Anderson Cooper.
Cooper sparked a war of words earlier this week by claiming that Lindsay's 14-year-old sister Ali "looks to be about 60". He also described her reality series Living Lohan as a "trainwreck".
The star's mother Dina soon hit back at Cooper, describing his comments as "cruel" and claiming that he would suffer from "bad karma".
Giving his take on the row in an interview with Access Hollywood, Michael revealed: "I think Anderson Cooper is an opinionated, hypocritical idiot who should be an adult and keep his opinion to himself. He is the last person to judge anyone, when he and his own family have their own issues."
Cooper has insisted that he "feels bad" for Ali as he believes her reality TV career is preventing her from "being a kid".
