Script star reveals Peaches confusion

The Script star Mark Sheehan has admitted that the band failed to recognise Peaches Geldof at the iTunes Festival.

Geldof presented coverage of the event for ITV2 alongside Dave Berry last month, but guitarist Mark and his bandmates were baffled when she approached them.

"It was a huge gig for us and we got to headline," Sheehan told the Liverpool Daily Post. "We didn't realise that Peaches Geldof was a presenter. We hadn't a clue who the woman was.

"She was giving it the 'Oh, you're Irish, my dad's Irish' routine, and we were like 'Okaay'. Later, we found out she meant her dad was Bob Geldof."

Berry recently revealed that working alongside Geldof for the festival had been a "dream".
