Ben & Jerry's won't do Winehouse ice cream

Ben & Jerry's has said it will not dedicate an ice cream flavour to singer Amy Winehouse.

The ice cream makers currently produce flavours named after musician Jerry Garcia and the Vermont band Phish.

Last month, the company revealed plans to sell a limited edition ice cream in tribute to Elton John called Goodbye Yellow Brickle.

When asked whether the firm would work with Winehouse, founder Jerry Greenfield told Heat: "I'm not sure that Amy has the proper image that Ben and Jerry's wants to be connected with."
