Sheryl desperate for Gazza to come home

Paul Gascoigne's ex-wife Sheryl is desperate for him to return home after he walked out on her.

The football legend has not been in contact with Sheryl since they rowed over his friendship with Jimmy "Five Bellies" Gardner earlier this month. Reports have suggested that Sheryl feared Gazza's old boozing pal would lead him astray if they continued to spend time together.

Gascoigne was said to have spent time in hotels after storming out of Sheryl's home. However, the Daily Star claims that he is now with Gardner in Prague, known for its cheap and strong beer.

"It's the last place on earth someone with a serious alcohol addiction should be," a source told the newspaper. "Sheryl is terrified Paul is about to throw all the good work he's put in during rehab out of the window."

Gazza reunited with Sheryl after being discharged from rehab last month. The pair even vowed to get married again - as long as Paul could stay sober.
