Richard Hammond buys £2 million castle
Top Gear host Richard Hammond has bought a castle in Herefordshire for £2 million, according to The Sun.

Hammond splashed out on a new family home after landing a lucrative new contract to remain as a presenter on BBC Two's motoring show.

He was also rumoured to have netted £750,000 to film an advert for supermarket Morrisons.

A source is reported to have said: "Richard toyed with moving nearer London but realises he could never settle down there. And the castle dwarfs the Cotswold farmhouse owned by fellow presenter Jeremy Clarkson."

Hammond's 20-acre property includes a main house with six bedrooms, a pool and stables.
