Minogue admits being "picky" over men

Dannii Minogue has claimed that she does not have a boyfriend because she is too "picky" when it comes to men.

The X Factor judge admitted that she is more careful about who she dates following her failed marriage to actor Julian McMahon and broken engagement with racing driver Jacques Villeneuve.

"It's too easy to say that successful, independent women are single because they focus too much on their work. If the right guy came along I would be happy, but I'm picky," Minogue explained. "And not everyone has to get married and have children."

The star's sister Kylie has also struggled to find a man since she split from French actor Olivier Martinez in 2007.

Dannii joked: "I blame our parents! They have been married forever and have the best relationship, and we have too much to live up to."

The Minogue sisters recently agreed to duet on a theme tune for a new BBC Two comedy series.
