Eva Longoria and husband Tony Parker "desperately" want children, according to Desperate Housewives executive producer Marc Cherry.
He told Us Weekly: "Eva is desperately trying to get pregnant with Tony.
"After they phone their doctor, she promised me I will be the next call."
Longoria's character Gabrielle Solis is mum to two children in the fifth season of the US drama.
"Gaby is having a very tough time being the mother of two overweight, hyperactive children," said Cherry. "But Eva is having a marvellous time playing her!"
Longoria, 33, said earlier this month that she is tired of being quizzed by the press about whether she is having children.
