'South Park' creators honour Hayes

South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker have paid tribute to the late Isaac Hayes.

Hayes, who died from a suspected stroke at the weekend, voiced the character of Chef on the animated comedy from 1998 until 2006.

He walked out on the show after objecting to an episode which mocked the controversial faith Scientology, a religion that he practised.

An image of Chef has been put up on website SouthParkStudios.com, reading: "In Memoriam Isaac Hayes - 1942-2008."
