Geldof "mad" over daughter's wedding

Peaches Geldof's new husband has confirmed that her father Sir Bob is angry over their shock wedding.

Max Drummey, a member of US indie band Chester French, revealed Geldof's true feelings as he spoke to fans at a gig, according to the News of the World.

"Bob's not cool about the marriage. He's mad about it," Drummey admitted. "We've spoken on the phone four or five times and that was tough.

"We agreed we need to meet face to face. I am planning to get to England as soon as I can and, with Peaches, tell him my feelings. I'm really nervous but Peaches reckons it's all cool."

The couple tied the knot in Las Vegas earlier this month. Peaches has reportedly told friends that she now wants to live in the US with her new husband.

Drummey confessed that he knows little about Sir Bob in a recent interview.
