US 'Office' star facing drug charges

US Office star Craig Phillip Robinson has been charged with drug offences, it has been confirmed.

The actor, who plays Darryl Philbin on the NBC sitcom, was arrested in June on suspicion of possessing ecstasy and methamphetamine. He was later released on bail.

Robinson will now face two drug possession charges, along with one charge of being under the influence of illegal drugs. He will appear in court on Thursday.

As well as his Office role, Robinson has appeared in comedy movie Pineapple Express. He has also had minor parts in Arrested Development and Friends.

The actor's publicist has declined to comment on the charges.
