Alan Carr: 'I won't crack America'

Alan Carr has confessed that he may struggle to become a success in the US.

The Sunday Night Project host has revealed that his crooked teeth could prevent him from experiencing the same Stateside success as fellow Brit stand-up Russell Brand.

Metro quoted Carr as saying: "I can't crack the States with these teeth. The last person who cracked the States with a set like this was Jaws."

It was earlier reported that Carr had been offered a £2 million contract with ITV to become "the natural successor to Paul O'Grady and Michael Barrymore".
