Hathaway: 'I stalked Steve Carell'

Anne Hathaway has confessed to stalking her Get Smart co-star Steve Carell.

The 25-year-old revealed to Metro that she would follow Carell around on the set of the spy comedy because she was a fan of his sitcom The Office.

She said: "I was always worried on set that he would come to my trailer to ask me a question and realise I was actually stalking him because I've recorded every episode of The Office and I'm always watching it when I have five seconds. It's one of my favourite series ever."

Hathaway admitted that she was also a fan of the British original, but enjoyed the US version because it was "done so brilliantly".

Get Smart, a remake of Mel Brooks's '60s spy series, is released in cinemas this Friday.
