Duffy wants 'Gavin & Stacey' cameo

Welsh singer Duffy has said that she would love a cameo in James Corden's sitcom Gavin & Stacey.

The 24-year-old, who recently met Corden, claimed she is desperate to land a role on the BBC Three show.

"I love Gavin & Stacey - what a comedy," she told The Sun. "I want a role. Can I put it out there - let's do it?"

However, the Welsh soul star denied rumours that she shared a kiss with Corden at a recent meeting.

"Someone said that we snogged, that we were caught somewhere," she said.

"I was like, no, no, we didn't. But I met him. It was a bit awkward... but he was absolutely brilliant."
