Nicola Roberts: 'I'm banning men'

Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts has announced that she wants nothing more to do with men.

The singer revealed that she has been happy to stay single following her split from boyfriend Carl Davies in May.

"I'm banning men. No more fellas for me. I want to be on my own. I'm tired of all the bulls**t that comes with having a boyfriend," Roberts told The Mirror. "I don't want to deal with anymore cr*p. I've learned the hard way and from other people's mistakes.

"I've been in relationships since I was 16 and just want to be by myself and hang out with my girls."

Roberts reportedly ended her 18-month relationship with Davies following a series of "explosive" rows. They had started their romance shortly after the star broke up with her childhood sweetheart Carl Egerton, who she dated for five years.
