Amy Winehouse to appear on 'Countdown'

Amy Winehouse has reportedly been approached to appear on Countdown.

Producers are said to be eager to sign her after she admitted to being a fan of the Channel 4 gameshow last month.

A spokesman told the Daily Star Sunday: "We would love to hear from her about coming on to the show.

"There’s no reason why she couldn’t appear as a celebrity in Dictionary Corner."

Current presenters Carol Vorderman and Des O'Connor recently announced that they are stepping down from the programme. Myleene Klass and Bradley Walsh are among the favourites to replace them.
