Winehouse enters rehab near Fielder-Civil

Amy Winehouse has entered a rehab clinic close to where her husband Blake Fielder-Civil is imprisoned, The Sun reports.

The singer will receive treatment at the "small and friendly" Focus 12 Clinic in Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, just 15 miles away from Highpoint Prison where Fielder-Civil is serving a 27-month sentence for GBH and perverting the course of justice.

"This is a very good idea. If she can get clean and still see Blake it can only be good," said Winehouse's father Mitch.

Comic Russell Brand, who overcame his addictions at Focus 12, suggested to the clinic's chief executive Chip Somers that he should contact Winehouse to offer her treatment.
