Blake Lively unfazed by Ferrera's eye-roll

Blake Lively has laughed off rumours surrounding her friendship with America Ferrera.

As the pair promoted their new movie The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants 2 together in a recent video interview, Ugly Betty actress Ferrera rolled her eyes and appeared to look irritated when Lively was asked about her teen drama series Gossip Girl.

Though Ferrera's behaviour has been the subject of much comment on internet discussion sites, Lively has insisted that she cannot understand why.

Asked by Entertainment Weekly to comment on the incident, Lively replied: "I haven't even heard about it. I don't ever pay attention to that stuff.

"She's one of my best friends in the whole wide world and honestly, when you're sitting in a room for three hours doing satellite interviews... we were staring at a post-it with a smiley face, so I think I probably rolled my eyes a hundred times. I'm like, 'Oh gosh, this thing is still going on'."

The star recently promised that fans can expect the second Gossip Girl season to be "juicy".
