Clooney: 'I'm content without family'

George Clooney has said that he doesn't want to look after a large family like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

Speaking at the Venice Film Festival, the 47-year-old actor said: "I couldn't do what Brad and Angie are doing. I wouldn't have the patience or dedication you need to take care of a family.

"I admire those qualities in other people but it's not for me. I'm doing exactly what I want to.

"I hang out with the same friends, I spend time in Italy, and then I go back to work. I try not to worry about anything else."

Clooney, who is currently single, was promoting his and Pitt's new movie Burn After Reading.

The Coen brothers' project opens in the UK in October.
