Simpson: 'Romo is love of my life'

Jessica Simpson has claimed that American football star Tony Romo is the love of her life.

The singer also told People that she has changed all her contact details so that ex-lovers cannot ruin her new relationship.

"I just told him today, 'You're the love of my life'," said Simpson. "I don't really ever say that to anybody."

She continued: "I don't want anybody that's been in my life [before] in my life anymore. I don't even want them to have any way of contacting me."

When asked about rumours that Romo still speaks to his former girlfriend Carrie Underwood, she commented: "I'm not a jealous girlfriend."

Simpson was previously married to Nick Lachey. She has also been linked to John Mayer, Dane Cook and Maroon 5's Adam Levine.
