Morissette banned from looking at Ice

Alanis Morissette has claimed that she was not permitted to make eye contact with Vanilla Ice when they toured together.

Morissette said she was told not to look at the rapper while on the road as his opening act in 1991.

The Grammy winner told Virgin Radio: "I was instructed not to look him in the eye and that was my first experience of honouring someone’s privacy to the point where you look away when they come near you.

"I thought, 'Wow, I didn’t think that actually existed!'"
