The TV host told the Prime Minister that his true personality does not come across on-screen when he joined her on the sofa for one interview.
Speaking to The Mirror, Phillips explained: "We got to an ad break and he said, 'So that's what you think of me, then.' I told him I certainly didn't think badly of him. I was talking about other people. I think I hurt him. I felt terrible, but he was OK."
Phillips also blasted popstar Mariah Carey, claiming that she has acted like a diva every time she has appeared on the morning programme.
"She's ridiculous. She'll switch positions until she thinks she's arranged herself into the most flattering one," Fiona explained. "And then she won't dare move a muscle for the duration of the interview.
"I speak as I find and she's just rude. She's brilliant with her fans but every time I've interviewed her she's been awful."
Phillips recently announced that she is quitting GMTV to spend more time with her family. She will front her final episode at the end of the year.
