Jade Goody 'frustrated' by mother

Jade Goody has admitted that she is frustrated by her mother's reaction to her cancer diagnosis.

The reality TV star revealed that her mum Jackiey does not understand the full implications of her illness and has remained unnaturally calm about the situation.

Goody broke the news to her family after she was diagnosed while taking part in the Indian version of Big Brother.

Speaking on GMTV this morning, Goody explained: "It was really difficult because my Mum doesn't... I don't think my Mum understands how serious it is, and so I got quite frustrated with her at first because I told her and she was just like, 'Oh, you know, you'll be alright'. And I was thinking, 'You're strong,' I was thinking, 'How much stronger have I got to be?'

"I just wanted that cuddle. Obviously I told her over the phone so I couldn't have a cuddle, I'm sure if I was with her she would've cuddled me. But it is really odd with me and my Mum."

Goody also denied claims that she will be followed by cameras for a reality TV show as she undergoes treatment.

"I'm not doing a TV show out of this, I would never do that," she insisted. "I was filming before, and it all finished when I went to India, and so I would never do that. It's something that I need to go through on my own and get stronger with."
