Depp performs gig at charity concert

The actor, who formed the group at Miramar School in 1978, played a 90-minute set for 2,800 people.
Depp's band moved to LA in an attempt to get signed but broke up when he decided to pursue an acting career.
Proceeds from the gig went to the Dan Marino Foundation, which helps children with special needs.
Depp, who played guitar and sang backing vocals, dedicated the show to the group's late manager Sheila Witkin.
He famously performed slide guitar on Oasis's album track 'Fade In-Out' on their Be Here Now LP.
