Adrian Grenier denies Lucas split

Adrian Grenier has dismissed rumours that Isabel Lucas dumped him for Shia LaBeouf.

It was recently reported that the Entourage star was unhappy that Lucas was spending time with her Transformers co-star. The Australian actress was a passenger in LaBeouf's truck when it crashed last month.

However, Grenier insisted that he and Lucas were never serious, saying: "I thought it was funny that suddenly there was a big scandal, because since when were we dating? First of all, we don't give each other those labels - it's more subtle than that. She and I have a very open communication. We're friends with common interests.

"Secondly, love and relationships are complicated. No-one could ever get it right in a four-line sentence."

He added: "I'm not married. We're young in Hollywood and having fun."
