The Oasis frontman said he wants to move to New York with his wife Nicole Appleton when Gene, 7, completes his education.
"I love that city, I love the buzz off it," Gallagher told The Sun. "That's the next step for me.
"And no, I'm not going to do acting or any of that s***. I've been offered a few things but it's not me. I'm just going to a place where I can be me."
Gallagher is currently touring North America promoting his band's new studio album Dig Out Your Soul.
