Liam Gallagher plans to leave UK

Liam Gallagher has claimed that he is planning to leave the UK when his youngest son finishes school.

The Oasis frontman said he wants to move to New York with his wife Nicole Appleton when Gene, 7, completes his education.

"I love that city, I love the buzz off it," Gallagher told The Sun. "That's the next step for me.

"And no, I'm not going to do acting or any of that s***. I've been offered a few things but it's not me. I'm just going to a place where I can be me."

Gallagher is currently touring North America promoting his band's new studio album Dig Out Your Soul.
