Hugh Grant has denied claims that he is dating a fashion designer 20 years his junior.
The actor was spotted with ex-model Catherine Fulmer, 27 on several occasions during a recent visit to New York resort The Hamptons.
The pair were seen walking on a local beach before attending Evian's A Taste Of Polo event on Sunday, where an onlooker described them as "so cute and flirty".
"He got Catherine and several of her friends shots of tequila to celebrate the night," the source told The Sun.
Grant is expected to attend Fulmer's upcoming show at New York Fashion Week.
However, his spokesman dismissed the rumours, saying: "Someone's got their wires crossed. They met at a party and Hugh does not know her at all."
