Chris Carter hospitalised with exhaustion

According to Entertainment Weekly, Carter was admitted on Tuesday and is suffering from "acute sleeping disorder".
His problems have allegedly arisen from "working on multiple films back to back over a two-year period".
Carter's recent projects include the recently released X-Files movie and Fencewalker, which is scheduled for 2009.
