Allen's friends fear for her wellbeing

Friends of Lily Allen have expressed concerns about her wellbeing after she spoke about killing herself.

The singer admitted that she felt suicidal in a posting on her Facebook page earlier this week. Later, a new comment appeared which saw the star claiming that she is "dying inside".

Allen wrote on the page after being criticised in the press for her drunken behaviour at the GQ Awards on Tuesday night.

Her pals have now suggested that she could be heading down the same path as Britney Spears, whose troubles have been well-documented over the past twelve months.

One source told the Daily Star: "Her friends are worried. Some fear the drinking is getting out of hand. It reminded me of Britney."
