Jamelia has abandoned plans to release her autobiography amid fears that it would not be a success.
The R&B star signed a deal with Orion in January and her life story Stronger was scheduled to hit shelves this month.
However, a source told the Sunday People that the memoir will not be released, saying: "The feeling was that it wasn't going to do very well. And then Jamelia changed her mind about what she wanted in the book, so [Orion] decided not to publish it."
The singer, who was a guest host on the recent series of Big Brother's Big Mouth, was expected to reveal how she coped with claims that husband Darren Byfield cheated on her before they were married.
