Jolie finds "calmest place in life"

Actress Angelina Jolie believes she has become a stronger woman after becoming a mother to twins.

The Tomb Raider star and her partner Brad Pitt bolstered their brood to six this July when Jolie gave birth to twins Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon.

The mother-of-six said: "I have become a lot stronger than I used to be. Although it is strange to say myself, I think I have become a better woman."

Reports earlier this month claimed Jolie was hysterical over fears that her children could be kidnapped and was refusing to leave the French château the family rented for the summer.

However, she told Japan's Elle magazine: "I feel like I have found the calmest place in life."

As well as the twins, the family also includes Maddox, seven; Pax, four; Zahara, three; and Shiloh, two.
