The Australian popstar admitted that she had a crush on Tallulah Bankhead, the bisexual American actress and chatshow host who died in 1968.
The Sun quoted her as saying: "I'd go gay for her. She was a fascinating and exotic woman. There was so much to admire about her. She lived life to the full, maybe a little too fully. I want to release the inner Tallulah in me.
Minogue added that the lack of men in her life had prompted her to reconsider her sexuality.
"God knows I can't get a man, so maybe I should cross over," she said.
